漸進鏡片 –
Myopilux plus (Essilor), Kid Pro (Swisscoat)
漸進鏡片是傳統的近視控制光學鏡片,主要靠減輕小朋友看近事物時的對焦力度而達到減慢近視加深的效果。小朋友在使用此類型鏡片時需要配合正確的閱讀姿勢。
漸進鏡片主要對有隱性內斜視/高調節差距 的小朋友有較大效果 (有些研究指出,可減慢近視增長高達38%)。至於有隱性外斜視的小朋友,這種鏡片較果並不明顯。平均減慢眼軸增長15%(近視增長14%)

雙光鏡片 – Myopilux Max (Essilor)
雙光鏡片的原理和漸進鏡片非常近似,但在鏡片上加上棱鏡,能更有效地控制近視加深。數據顯示,雙光鏡片可慢近視增長高逹62%。
控制周邊視力的鏡片 – 蔡司「成長樂 2」
MyoVision Pro/ Asiana/ Ace (Ziess)
另一類別的近視控制鏡片,以其獨特的『周邊模糊近視控制區』,減慢兒童近視的增長。此近視控制眼鏡片需要配合適當的眼鏡並加上準確的焦點位置量度,才能發揮其最大功效。
不過在最新的研究中指出,此鏡片對控制近視没有明顯效果。
